Thank you to all who supported St. Francis Hospice by hosting a Coffee Morning for Hospice in 2007! We are most grateful for the goodwill, generosity of time and return of proceeds. If you still have proceeds to return, please arrange to return them at your convenience.

Ireland's Biggest Coffee Morning 2008 will be held on Thursday 18th September. The Balrothery Inn, 10am to 12noon.

Rugby International on Wednesday 17th of September
With Thanks to Multi Cargo Ltd, The Balrothery Inn & Balbriggan RFC. There will be an over 35's international on wednesday evening at 7pm on the new Balbriggan RFC ground in Balrothery. The match will be the Argentianian Pivetes XV, who are flying in from Buenos Aires against the Balbriggan RFC (Mc Gee cup side). Many thanks to Brendan Mc Cormack who has invited all back to the Inn for an impromptu night after the game til late.

Skerries Road Closure



ROADS ACT 1993 – SECTION 75

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF ROSEPARK ROAD, BALROTHERY

The Transportation Department proposes to temporarily close part of Rosepark Road, Balrothery to through traffic which runs from the junction of Balrothery Road to the junction with the Cross of the Cage Road from 8.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 30th September, 2008 to 7.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 21st October, 2008 inclusive in order that necessary road resurfacing works can be undertaken on part of this road by Kilsaran, who are Contractors engaged by Fingal County Council to undertake this work.

While the stretch of road in question is temporarily closed the alternative route for motorised traffic will be as follows:

Travelling northwards from Killalane direction to Balrothery will be as follows:

Turn left on to New Lane, turn right on to the ‘Man of War’- Balrothery Road

Travelling southwards from Balrothery will be as follows:

Turn right on to the ‘Man of War’- Balrothery Road, turn left on to New Lane

Traffic travelling from the junction of the ‘Cross of the Cage’

Turn left on to the Killalane Road, turn right on to New Lane, turn right on to the ‘Man of War’- Balrothery Road

Local access will be maintained at all times and diversion signs will be in place.

Any interested person may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Transportation Department, Fingal County Council, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 not later than 5.00 p.m. on Friday, 12th September 2008.

Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused in relation to this matter.
