On Saturday the 3rd of April on the Wavin Lake, Gormanston & District anglers will have a special fishing competition for all junior members of the club. Beginning at 10am, fly fishing and spinning allowed
All participants will receive an Easter egg, plus prizes for largest fish, etc.

This competition is for all paid up senior members of the Gormanston & District Anglers.

We would also like to thank everyone who showed up on the Lake for our St Patrick’s day competitions. We had over 100 visitors on the day.
57 senior anglers competed in the Michael Barrable Motor’s sponsored senior competition with the largest fish weighing in at nearly 4lbs.
18 Junior anglers also competed in their own competition with the largest fish weighing in 1.14oz.
Over 60 fish were caught on the day with most being returned to fight another day
